WE PRAYED. We dreamed. We planned. We talked. We organized.

We raised support. WE PRAYED some more. Image

We ate. We volunteered. We set up.ImageImageImage IMG_8463                          We gathered. We registered. We braved the rain and the lightening!

We danced.   Image

 We stretched.                                                                     We educated.

We worshipped and prayed again.

Firewall+Ministries_Run+for+th-3017685865-O And then it was time to line up. All together. At one time. On this day, January 11, the National Day of Awareness for Human Trafficking.

We lined up to run, to walk, to fight against human trafficking. To let people know it exists and we are not ignoring it. We lined up to tell those enslaved and those who are responsible for enslaving the over 27 million people around the world that we know you are out there and we are coming! We will not ignore it or pretend it doesn’t exist – no matter how hard it is to think about. It is unacceptable and we are coming to rescue and save by making people aware, by raising money, and by the power of prayer.

And then, WE RAN FOR THEIR LIVES!

And when we finished, it felt good. We had done something. A small part. So, we celebrated!

And now, though the race is finished, we have only begun. We will keep praying, raising awareness and funds so that the city of Knoxville can do its part to put an end to human trafficking – until all are FREE, including Divya, Duni, Kousayla, and Nalini.
